Listing information comes from sellers
We review each business before listing it and ask sellers for supporting evidence. Even so, revenue, profit, traffic, growth rates, customer numbers and other figures in a Listing are supplied by the seller. We do not audit them, and they may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. When we describe financials as “verified,” we mean we have checked them against evidence the seller provided, such as platform dashboards or statements. It is not an audit or a guarantee.
Valuations and multiples are estimates
Our valuation calculator, typical multiples and asking prices are estimates based on general market data and the information entered. What a business actually sells for depends on its buyers, its terms, diligence findings and market conditions. It may be higher or lower than any estimate we show.
Risk and past performance
Buying a business involves risk, including losing some or all of the money you invest. Online businesses can be significantly affected by search and platform algorithm changes, marketplace policy changes, supplier problems, competition and account suspensions. A business's past results do not guarantee its future performance.
No guarantee of a sale
We cannot promise that a business will sell, sell within a certain time, or reach a particular price. Timelines and outcomes described on the site are typical examples, not commitments.
Market statistics
Figures such as total deal value, the number of businesses sold and average time to sell summarize our marketplace activity and may be rounded. They are provided for context and are not a prediction of your results.
